If the casino takes the side of a foolish woman that couldn’t take responsibility for forgetting her ticket and calls me a thief, that’s a problem. I was so flustered and angry by that I didn’t even know what to say. She followed with “the woman said you stole it.” Show us your ID and you’re banned for 3 days. The first thing out of her mouth was, “We know you stole a ticket.” I told her I didn’t STEAL it, I FOUND it. I was at my last machine for the night, I turn around and security approaches. The debate in my mind was over - it ended as it should. My brother lost a $75 ticket a couple years ago, the casino found him and gave it back to him - great experience. I thought that was good in many ways - large lost ticket, the casino did the right thing, stopped payment and the rightful owner likely got their money back. Eventually I got a message that the ticket was not redeemable. The machine spit it out so I tried a couple more times to make sure it wasn’t the ticket or machine redemption slot which often happens. Much later I put the ticket in a machine to see what would happen. I decided to put it in my wallet and wait it out. Do I cash it and run, do I wait in line for an hour, etc. Probably like every other person in the casino I debated in my mind about what to do. No one was around or I would have given them their ticket back. I removed the ticket, to my shock it was for $240. Decided to cash out my ticket, turned around and an empty machine had a graphic to remove a ticket and was pinging. I was there late Friday night (busy as ever), had found a row of machines where only one other person was playing at the other end. I will never go again though other then to pick up my free jacket this Thursday and take my 97 yr old mom one last time. The atmosphere was fun, love the no smoking policy. Personally, I thought Mystic Lake was improving.
